Cremations services by Jaco Smith Elite Funeral Group
Whether you opt for cremation for religious or personal reasons, Jaco Smith Elite Funeral Group (Pty.) Ltd aims to respect your wishes whether you set it out in your pre-planned funeral, or whether you’re planning a funeral for a loved one. We are committed to providing the most professional service in a respectful and compassionate manner, no matter your culture, religion, or tradition.
Cremation is a simple and versatile option when compared to a traditional burial, and it can be performed in different ways to suit your specific requirements.
At Jaco Smith Elite Funeral Group, we offer two main types of cremation, namely:
Attended Cremation
When you opt for an attended cremation, we will transport your loved one in a casket to the venue (church, chapel or similar venue) in which the memorial service is held. We can usually open the casket before, during, or after the service, depending on your preferences and the rules of the venue.
After the service, we will transport the deceased back to the crematorium for immediate or scheduled cremation.
Unattended Cremation
With an unattended cremation, the deceased is not brought to the venue. That means that no casket will be present at the event. However, the deceased will be brought to the crematorium in a casket either before or after the memorial service.
Our cremation services include:
- Arrangements
- Urns
- Internment
- Burial of remains
Either cremation option can usually be customised to cater to your preferences, which might include a memorial service, funeral service or private viewing.
The Jaco Smith Funeral Group (Pty.) Ltd team takes utmost care during the cremation process, and follows strict laws. We follow all laws and protocols to ensure that families only receive the remains of their loved ones.
